Hey guys.  I'm a new cub, 18, fresh outta high school, and ready to experience life.  I come from tiny Frontenac, Kansas (pop. 4000), and I've never had any gay experiences in my life, owing mostly to my location.  I was watching MTV (reality trash, I know, but I digress), and the show NEXT came on.  Now, I doubt many of you are familiar with the show, but it often chronologues the journeys of pretty gay people in urban gay metro centers.  This was my first time watching it, and it happened to be covering a young southern boy from a small town experiencing Atlanta.  I'd been looking for a place to move to for a long time now, and no place seemed to click, after months and months of research I had all but given up.  But I had never considered Atlanta, and...it looks amazing.  What I'm wondering is, how strong is the bear scene in Atlanta?  Every place has a quality that defines it, stereotypically.  Socals are flakes, midwesterners are wholesome and naive, southereners are crude, etc, etc.  Little stereotypes and anecdotes that tell the life of the place, true or not, a reputation is such for a reason.  What I'm wondering, what are bears in Atlanta like?  Is this a place someone as admittedly naive and wholesome as the stereotype suggests could thrive, or should I avoid it?  Furthermore, I do have some money saved up, but as far as applicable work experience, my resume is quite bare.  I know this may be quite a lot to ask of total strangers, but were I to choose to move to Atlanta, could I ask you guys of some assistance?  I've never lived in a big city before, and I have no idea as to how.  I need a small amount of time to find a job, find a place, and adjust.  Could I maybe room with someone for a small iota of time while I adjust myself?  I'd be more than willing to help out, I'm a pretty good cook, very clean, and I'm told I'm entertaining (thought often quite hyper, heh).  If anyone could help me with these issues, I would appreciate it SOOO much!

 Thanks a bunch,
Chase

*hugs*
